Outlook Online / New Outlook in Windows
The chapter and its manual is intended for Outlook Online and new Outlook in Windows, because their working is almost the same.
For those who prefer text manual:
If you already have an eWay-CRM account, follow the steps below. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up here. The tutorial for signing up is in this article: Sign Up.
- Select any e-mail in Outlook Online, click the three-dots icon in its body and go to Apps.
- Click Add apps in the new dialog.
- Search for eWay-CRM and click the eWay-CRM app that was found.
- In the new dialog, just click Add.
- Go to eWay-CRM using Apps option.
- If you click Apps and select eWay-CRM, you will get the menu. Select Preview Panel in this menu.
- You will see the eWay-CRM add-in panel where you click Login.
- Log in with the email address you used to create the eWay-CRM account.
- If the login is successful and you have data in your eWay-CRM related to the selected email (e.g. email address is related to a contact), you will instantly see everything about the item.
- You can pin the panel to the page by clicking the pin icon, so when you click on another email, you will immediately see information about the item.
Classic Outlook in Windows
For those who prefer text manual:
- On your PC, click the File tab in your classic Outlook and then Manage Add-ins.
- On the page with add-ins, click into the search field and type in eWay-CRM Online.
- Click Add the eWay-CRM Online.
- Confirm your choice by Continue.
- Select Preview Panel and log in to your eWay-CRM account. After that, you will see eWay-CRM information about email and contact.
- Outlook in the desktop version has also its own eWay-CRM Online ribbon where you can create new items or go to specific lists of items.
Note
The eWay-CRM Online ribbon is active when the user is signed in to eWay-CRM Online. Click any email. Now, the eWay-CRM Online ribbon is accessible.
Outlook for Mac
For those who prefer text manual:
- In the top part of the dialog, click three dots and select Get Add-ins.
- Find eWay-CRM Online.
- Add eWay-CRM Online.
- Now, click the three dots in the message toolbar and you will see eWay-CRM Online and all its options.
- Select Preview Panel and log in to your eWay-CRM account. After that, you will see eWay-CRM information about email and contact.
- When you open the detail of an item, it opens in a new window:
Outlook for mobile devices
- Just open any email in your mobile Outlook and click three dots in its body.
- On android devices, some options can be hide, so just drag the menu up.
- Now, select More Add-ins.
- Search for eWay-CRM Online and add it by clicking +.
- Confirm license terms by clicking Continue.
- Now, when you click three dots in the email body again, you have a new option there – Open eWay-CRM. Click it
- If the contact is already saved in eWay-CRM, you will see its details and you can work with it right away.
